Physician-performed
hair transplantation.

Your surgeon. Your surgery.

A device name does not tell you who performs the procedure. At Hair By Dr. Max, Dr. Maxim Chumak personally performs harvesting and implantation.

Clear responsibilities

Who does what?

Dr. Max · surgical responsibility

  • Diagnosis, candidacy and treatment planning.
  • Hairline design and donor strategy.
  • Personal graft harvesting.
  • Personal graft implantation and surgical decisions.

Trained staff · supporting roles

  • Graft organization.
  • Microscope inspection and sorting.
  • Implanter loading under Dr. Max’s direction.

These tasks support the procedure; they do not replace the physician for harvesting or implantation.

The current implantation method

One step for opening
and placement.

Dr. Max personally implants every graft using sharp implanters. The recipient opening and graft placement happen together, so separate pre-made recipient sites are generally not required.

That does not mean “no incisions” or “scar-free.” Small openings are still made in the skin.

Take these questions to any consultation

Clarity is part
of choosing a clinic.

Ask about the people, the plan and the follow-up—not only the technique’s name.

  1. Who performs each surgical step?Ask for names, qualifications and responsibilities.
  2. What is my donor plan?Discuss what will remain and how future loss is considered.
  3. Who handles my follow-up?Know whom to contact about healing, growth or concerns.

Look at results.
Ask for the context.

Before-and-after photographs are useful starting points. Your own diagnosis, donor supply and goals determine what may be realistic.

This historical gallery comparison does not document the operative roles, graft count or follow-up interval for this case.

Practical answers

Understand
the surgical model.

Does one patient per day guarantee a better result?

No. It describes the clinic’s scheduling model, not a guaranteed graft-survival rate, density, comfort level or outcome. Candidacy, donor quality, technique, healing and follow-up all matter.

Does robotic technology perform the whole procedure?

Do not assume so. Ask which functions are proposed and how Dr. Max operates or directs the system. Technology is a tool; it does not remove his responsibility for the surgical procedure.

Can assistants help during surgery?

Yes. Trained staff may organize grafts, inspect and sort them under the microscope, and load implanters. Harvesting and implantation remain personally performed by Dr. Max.

Is every patient a candidate for surgery?

No. The diagnosis, scalp health, donor reserve and expected benefit must support the plan. Active disease, inadequate donor supply or unrealistic coverage expectations may lead to further assessment or non-surgical care.

What limitations and risks should I discuss?

Surgery cannot create unlimited donor hair or stop all future hair loss. Discuss bleeding, infection, scarring, altered sensation, temporary shedding, poor growth and an unsatisfactory cosmetic result. No surgeon or device eliminates every complication.
