How Does It Work?

Consultation
During your consultation, Dr. Max will review your medical history and evaluate the pattern and severity of your hair loss, and advise you if you can receive a NeoGraft® hair transplant in Florida. You will of course be able to ask any questions you may have about the procedure. At Hair By Dr. Max, Restoration Center, we hold our patient’s concerns and questions at the utmost importance.

Donor Hair Extraction
The donor area is typically the back of the head. Using the NeoGraft® technology, the physician carefully identifies the best follicular units for extraction. Then, NeoGraft® uses the follicular unit extraction (FUE) method to extract individual follicular units.

Recipient-Site Planning
After donor harvesting, Dr. Max plans the recipient distribution, direction, angle and depth of the grafts. Trained assistants may support non-surgical graft organization, microscopic inspection and sorting, and implanter loading under his direction.
Dr. Max personally performs harvesting and implantation. In his current sharp-implanter technique, recipient openings are created as the grafts are placed, rather than as a separate stage of pre-made sites.

Hair Graft Placement
Dr. Max personally implants each graft using sharp implanters. The recipient opening and graft placement occur in a single step, so separate pre-made recipient sites are generally not required.
NeoGraft-assisted FUE donor harvesting and direct graft implantation are distinct stages. The implantation instrument creates small openings in the skin; the procedure is not incision-free or scar-free.

See The Results
